The Right Coast Nova Scotia was created in 2008. Since I was eight, I’ve journalled off and on. So the transition to blogging came naturally.
In 2001, my husband, kids and I moved home to Nova Scotia after 11 years in northern British Columbia. Having departed for the West right after graduating from university, I wanted to re-discover my home province through the eyes of an adult.
The Right Coast took me on an adventure as I enthusiastically fell in love with Nova Scotia. My writing skills were honed, I learned about HTML, photography, keywords and web analytics. This blog was a catalyst for my interest in social media.
This pet project landed me as one of the first bloggers on Nova Scotia Tourism’s Nova Scotia Blogs, I also guest-blogged on various Halifax sites and participated in Downtown Halifax Business Commissions Big Day Downtown campaign for two years.
With my off and on experience with journalling, I haven’t been blogging for awhile but I do plan on returning! I always do.
Visit my labour of love, The Right Coast Nova Scotia!
