Canada Games Centre 2013-2014 Annual Report
No other facility in Atlantic Canada offers such a variety of sports and activities as the Canada Games Centre. There is also the diversity of the community we serve. After it’s third year of operation, the organization is “Moving Forward” and shaping its future. This annual report was created for online viewing and was created in seven days. The result is a bright and clean document. I wrote all the material, selected images, oversaw layout collaborated with all business units and worked with Pinwheel Communication Design and Halcraft.
“Strength in Numbers”
Canada Games Centre 2012-2013 Annual Report
This report was titled “Strength in Numbers” to recognize the continued success of our second year of operation. This was an interactive report that featured videos, infographics and had a lot of imagery in it’s simple and bright layout (only 50 printed copies were available). I thought of the “numbers” theme because of the volume of members/visitors, classes we offered, friendships made, weight lost (and pushed/pulled) etc. I collaborated with all business units, Board Chair and General Manager. I wrote all the material, worked with Pinwheel Communication Design on the design and layout and selected all images.
“What a Year!”
Canada Games Centre 2011-2012 Annual Report
It was a busy first year of operations, packed with many milestones and successes. The title simply says it all. We were all pleasantly surprised at how Halifax welcomed this new recreation and fitness facility. For this project I consulted business units and worked with the General Manager to create the messaging and tone of the document. I wrote all the material, worked with Pinwheel Communication Design on the design and layout and selected all images.
“BeingGreaterHalifax”
Greater Halifax Partnership 2010-2011 Annual Report
This was the Partnerships first online interactive annual report and a result of the hard work of the Marketing Communications and Economic Research Business Units. This report had video messages from President and CEO Paul Kent and was filled with infographics. The annual report also links back to GreaterHalifaxPartnership.com My role was contributing to the storyboard, creating/ inputting website content, managing social media presence, working with the videographer and collaborating with MT&L (National).
