“Sign, sign, everywhere a sign!”
INTERIOR SIGNAGE
In March 2011, the Canada Games Centre (CGC) opened. This new 176,000 sq ft. state of the art world-class facility needed signage. With 60,000 visitors coming through the doors each month, people needed to know where to go and how to get there.
I worked with HRM and a signage company for the best placement of room identifier signage, way-finding signs, banners and large signage for displaying policies and standards.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE
To extend our channels to communicate with members and users at the CGC, I was responsible for the placement and creation of a communication plan for seven digital monitors placed in high traffic locations throughout the facility. Working with ScreenScape we were able to quickly upload easy to read and informational content.
EXTERIOR SIGNAGE
In May 2014 a street sign was installed on the grounds of CGC. This 18 month project was the end result of coordinating with an expert signage designer, obtaining engineer stamp and working with various HRM departments. The large LED panel (largest in Atlantic Canada) will allow CGC to update information quickly.
